Photography Workshop

6th and 7th April; 13th and 14th April
time: 10 am to 12 pm

A 4 day workshop conducted over 2 weekends. This workshop aims to teach children the basics; touching on history, parts of a camera, picture composition, shooting a good picture and several hours of practical exercises. The last day will be an outdoor session.

Ms Richi Ishmeet Deaver.
Richi has conducted several basic and advanced photography workshops with us in the past. She has a great flair for working with kids and inspires them to pursue this art further.

Craft

7 to 12 years

Block printing, paper mache, terracotta and much more in store at this week long workshop.
|
Arti Bhatnagar will mentor these sessions. She works extensively with children and her flair for art and craft turns the everyday into extraordinary!

Fun n Fitness
|
8 to 15 years
|
April 8th to April 30th (children may enroll for as many sessions as they wish)
9.30 to 10.15 am
|
A great start to the holiday mornings with a 45 minute session of yoga and exercise specially tailor made for children.
|
Sakshi Bhanot is a fitness instructor/ trainer and works with several schools. She is associated with the Gulmohar Days Montessori and her evening fitness sessions for older kids have been a huge success.

KinderDance

3 to 5 years

A unique and fun filled music, movement and dance workshop for kids ages 3 to 5 years. The workshop will focus on creative movement, basics of ballet and tap dancing along with building self confidence and esteem.

Gulmohar Days is happy to associate with Kinder Dance, an internationally certified organisation that has been working with children for several years. Their facilitators are trained and approach the sessions with much energy and creativity.

KinderMotion

Along with dance techniques and creative movement, the workshop also builds on fitness, nutrition, self confidence and self esteem. A unique workshop that is bound to make the children enjoy moving to music and rhythm.

Our Science Club was a huge success last year and is back on popular demand! A 5 day workshop that tickles the imagination, works the grey cells and has the kids attempt several practical exercises.

Ms Kirti Behal has spent the last few decades in education and retired as the Principal of Bombay Internationl School, Mumbai. She loves to take science out of the text book and her sessions are creative and extremely hands-on!

Little Mozarts

Get your toddler to explore his/her musical side this summer. The children will learn about pitch through singing games and action songs. They will create their own melodies and incorporate them into stories. They will learn about timbre and rhythm through playing percussion instruments and will sing as they play.

This 10 days workshop will have children learn to sing/play a variety of songs on their own using their own interpretation. kids will learn some famous voice warm up activities used by choirs all over the world and will choose songs to rehearse and sing together

Let’s Bake!

8 years and above

Time 10.00 to 12.30 pm
|
a one day workshop for kids wherein children will bake delicious tarts be introduced to the basics of baking. recipes will be provided at the end of the session

Thank you Kavita Amarnani, for once again doing this workshop with us Judging by the turnout last time, you will be mentoring several little chefs this summer too!
